Job Description:

Join a dynamic RN team in Olney, Illinois, providing skilled overnight coverage with a consistent 12-hour nights shift schedule. In this travel healthcare contract, you’ll perform unit-specific responsibilities within your scope of service—implementing care procedures, maintaining accurate documentation, and using nursing judgment to respond to changing patient needs. Your work will include completing initial assessments, developing and updating individualized plans of care, and coordinating care through timely reviews and order processing.

You’ll also use a broad set of clinical skills, including peripheral IV access and central line/PICC/infusaport support, IM and SQ injections across neonatal through geriatric populations, and assistance with unit procedures and therapy setup. The role includes preparing for and supporting emergency situations as an effective team member, along with bedside shift reporting and maintaining patient communication tools to support the experience during your shift. Documentation, safety-focused practices, call light responsiveness, and interdisciplinary communication are central to how the unit operates.
