Job Description:

Join a busy hospital's float pool as a registered nurse specializing in MedSurg Tele and PCU units. In this role, you'll monitor post-procedure cardiac patients, manage an array of drips like Heparin and Amiodarone, and interpret strips on monitors to ensure patient safety. You'll work 12-hour day shifts, providing vital support across multiple units, including ED inpatients. This assignment offers the chance to experience a variety of patient cases in a fast-paced environment where your skills in managing complex cardiac patients will shine. Expect to work with nurse aides and utilize sophisticated equipment like BiPap, CPAP, and high-flow heated oxygen. Your expertise in a minimum of one year in a PCU setting will help you thrive in this engaging role that balances clinical responsibility with teamwork in a hospital setting.
