Job Description:

Join a reputable acute care hospital as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse specializing in Urology and Nephrology on a 13-week travel contract in Springfield, IL. You will be working on a 25-bed unit, providing vital support in managing patients with renal issues, including dialysis pre/post care, renal failure management, and the use of cardiac telemonitoring. This role involves floating within the Med Surg department, performing IV therapy, blood product administration, and handling complex respiratory cases such as chest tubes and non-invasive ventilation. The day shift (06:45-19:15) offers a steady schedule, with every other weekend required. Bring your at least 2 years of Med Surg RN experience, your BLS certification, and an active Illinois license to make a meaningful impact in this dynamic environment—or perhaps just to see if you can handle the pace!
