Job Description:

This travel healthcare role involves providing skilled medical-surgical nursing care during 12-hour night shifts at a large hospital facility. You will manage a diverse patient population with conditions such as COPD, Diabetes, CHF, infections, neurological issues, and mental health disorders. Your duties include assessments, care planning, medication management, IV therapy, and using advanced equipment like telemetry monitors and wound vacs. Expect to float among general medical-surgical units and participate in procedures like colonoscopies and minor surgeries. This assignment offers a chance to experience a vibrant hospital environment with a focus on acute care, all while working in a role that requires at least 1.5 years of tertiary or Level 1, 2 experience. The position also includes a comprehensive orientation program to ensure you're well-prepared for the unique demands of this role.
