Job Description:

This travel assignment places you in a busy hospital unit where you'll be responsible for vital signs, blood glucose monitoring, EKGs, and applying heart monitors. You'll assist with patient bathing, feeding, toileting, turning, and positioning, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout 12-hour day shifts. With an emphasis on teamwork, you'll collaborate with respiratory therapists who handle breathing treatments and manage equipment like BiPAP and CPAP machines. The role requires a minimum of one year of experience, and first-time travelers are welcome to apply. You'll work within nurse-to-patient ratios of approximately 1:5-7 during days and 1:6-8 at night, with charge nurses available to support your responsibilities. This position offers a chance to engage in meaningful patient interactions while honing your skills in a dynamic setting that encourages flexibility and professionalism.
