Job Description:

This travel nursing role centers on intraoperative surgical support in an operating room setting. As a perioperative RN, you'll coordinate and execute patient care tasks such as safeguarding against surgical site infections, verifying correct procedures and sites, managing specimens, and administering medications — all while acting as a patient advocate. You'll work Monday through Friday during day shifts, with a 40-hour weekly schedule over a 13-week contract, performing both circulating and scrubbing duties. The unique blend of responsibilities combines technical precision with patient interaction, making this a hands-on opportunity for nurses skilled in perioperative practices who enjoy working in a fast-paced surgical environment.
