Job Description:

This travel healthcare assignment is for an experienced MS/Tele Registered Nurse to float between medical, surgical, and observation units, with a focus on cardiac care. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), providing support in multiple units based on hospital needs during bedside bed meetings. You'll navigate electronic documentation systems such as Cerner, monitor patients via the Avasure video system, and handle diverse patient diagnoses. First-time travelers with 2-3 years of relevant experience and proficiency in Epic or Cerner are encouraged to apply, as this position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that values adaptability. The float pool includes nurses, PCAs, and OAs, all committed to delivering quality care in a collaborative setting. Unique to this assignment is the need to work across different units, managing transitional responsibilities and supporting team efficiencies during every shift. Currently, the unit is based out of McCann, and you'll be relieved for meal and break periods in the Avasure office.
