Job Description:

Join a specialized orthopedic nurse team on a 13-week travel contract in Charleston, West Virginia. This role involves caring for patients who have undergone bone and joint reconstructive surgery, joint replacement, or orthopedic trauma procedures. You will work night shifts from 7PM to 7AM, providing bedside nursing within a team-based model, often monitoring through remote telemetry and addressing post-surgical needs. The unit’s fast-paced environment offers opportunities to refine your skills in IV starts, wound management, and trauma care, all while helping patients recover from complex orthopedic procedures. This assignment offers the unique experience of working in a Level 1 Trauma Center, contributing to critical care for adult patients in a major teaching hospital setting.
