Job Description:

This NICU RN contract places you in a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with 61 beds, where you'll handle a variety of neonatal cases. Your focus will be on caring for premature infants (22 weeks and above), respiratory distress patients using equipment like Nava, Cpap, and vents, as well as surgical patients with trachs, g-tubes, and shunts. You’ll be responsible for titrating drips such as Morphine, Dopamine, and Epinephrine, working alongside neonatologists and nurse practitioners who are present 24/7. The role involves 12-hour night shifts, with a weekly commitment of 36 hours over a duration of 13 weeks. Travelers will be part of a dedicated team, supporting the unit’s complex patient needs, while enjoying the opportunity to develop specialized neonatal skills in a fast-paced environment.
