Job Description:

Join a 152-bed level II children's hospital with a prestigious level IV NICU in Tacoma, where you'll be immersed in a vibrant environment caring for neonates from the tiniest 22-week prematurity to high-risk deliveries and patients with complex needs. As a NICU registered nurse on a 12-hour day or night shift, your role involves providing respiratory support for ventilated infants, managing trachs, G-tubes, NG/OG feeds, NCPAP, UAC/UVC lines, PICC lines, medication administration, and care planning. You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including feeders/growers, NAS, surgical infants, and HIE cases. This contract offers the chance to float to the ER as a sitter when necessary, strengthening your versatility and experience in a lively pediatric setting. The schedule is based on block shifts with weekend rotations, no on-call requirements, and flexible scrub colors. Expect to gain hands-on experience in a specialized NICU, surrounded by a team dedicated to high-level neonatal care and family-centered treatment.
