Job Description:

Join our healthcare team in the ICU setting for an engaging 13-week contract in Kearney, Nebraska. As a registered nurse, you'll be responsible for managing adult trauma, cardiac, overdose, sepsis, post-stent, pacemaker placement, stroke, vascular cases, renal failure, and respiratory distress. This role involves patient monitoring, titrating cardiac and sedative drips, interpreting monitor strips, and assisting on both ICU and occasionally MedSurg units. The shift is 12-hour days, with opportunities to self-schedule core staff and flexibility for travelers. Expect to work 36 hours per week, with some weekend duty required and at least two holidays during the contract. This position offers a chance to work in a well-equipped ICU with 33 beds, handling an average census of 16 patients. Please note, artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas, and a pass/fail skills exam is part of orientation.
