Job Description:

Step into a fast-paced MICU travel contract in Battle Creek, Michigan, where your days are built around critical care multitasking—managing vents and high-acuity processes while supporting a mix of ICU and PCU-level patients. This role follows a consistent 12-hour day schedule (07:00–19:30) and includes every-other-weekend requirements. You’ll float within the critical care network to other ICU and Med Surg units as needed based on census, including rotations alongside staff for Med Surg coverage.

You’ll bring at least 1+ year of recent ICU experience (first-timers are considered), and you’ll need BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA). A pending Michigan license is acceptable—submission should include a concrete ETA and proof of application. Work involves cardiac monitoring and emergency response, renal therapies such as CRRT/CVVHD, arterial line and central line/CVC care, and special procedures including trach and chest tube placement. Expect care activities that support ventilated patients, including ABG interpretation, suctioning, and ventilator management (with an average of ~3 vents per day). Weekends and holiday coverage are required, and RTO cannot be used in the first two weeks of the assignment.
