Job Description:

Join a dedicated medical-surgical stepdown unit specializing in stroke and neurological cases in Utica, NY. This 13-week travel assignment is perfect for experienced nurses ready to handle adult patients with conditions like altered mental status, renal issues, COPD, CHF, and pneumonia. You’ll work 12-hour night shifts, from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, covering a unit with 64 beds. The role involves floating to various assignments within the unit, utilizing specialized equipment such as IV pumps and feeding tubes. This is a steady, hands-on opportunity to expand your stroke care expertise in a lively hospital setting, all while enjoying the quiet of nighttime hours.
