Job Description:

Join our team as a Stepdown RN in a cardiac/telemetry unit where every shift feels like a new challenge. You'll be responsible for monitoring post-cath, AMI, post-op lung surgeries, and patients with pacemakers or respiratory failure. This role involves titrating cardiac drips such as Heparin, Amiodarone, and Dopamine, with a focus on high-acuity care that demands both skill and attention to detail. The work setting is a 36-bed unit with a 1:4 to 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, requiring a seasoned RN comfortable with complex patient scenarios. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts on a 13-week contract, providing the hands-on expertise crucial to this fast-paced environment.
