Job Description:

Join this high-energy Labor and Delivery unit as a Registered Nurse for a 12-week travel contract. Your role involves assisting with high-risk deliveries, circulating for C-sections, and managing antepartum patients in a teaching hospital setting. The shifts are 12 hours long, scheduled on days from 07:00 to 19:30, with a commitment of 36 hours per week. Expect to work every other Monday for orientation, and participate in four weekend shifts over a six-week rotation, including two Fridays and two Thursdays. In addition, there may be call requirements as needed, particularly for obstetric emergencies. This assignment offers the chance to work with a team experienced in complex obstetrical cases, utilizing advanced procedures like IUPC placement and central line maintenance.
