Job Description:

This contract opportunity places you in the cardiac recovery unit of a busy hospital, where you'll be supporting post-procedure and pre/post cath lab activities. Your role involves managing patients recovering from cardiac procedures such as TAVR or LAAO, assisting with advanced tasks including radial artery sheath removals, arterial line management, and titrating cardiac drips. Expect to interpret tele EKGs and 12-lead interpretations, perform IV insertions, and ensure patient stability during transitions. The schedule's 12-hour night shifts will keep your nights lively while making for a rewarding, fast-paced experience. Unique to this assignment is the chance to work within a teaching hospital environment, often precepting students or new hires, all while floating between various cardiac and tele units around the campus.
