Job Description:

Join a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Omaha, Nebraska, as a registered nurse for a 13-week assignment. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts, where you'll be responsible for caring for adult patients, including cardiac and stroke cases, many arriving through the ER. You'll handle titratable IV drips like Heparin, insulin, and octreotide, and work closely with charge nurses and patient care techs. The unit features specialized equipment like Code Carts and Lucas machines, with a focus on teamwork and adaptability within a dynamic environment. Expect frequent admissions and discharges, requiring positive, collaborative nurses who excel under pressure.
