Job Description:

Join our Surgical Services team as a CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant for a 13-week contract in New Bern, North Carolina. You'll be supporting complex cardiovascular surgical procedures, primarily assisting with endovascular leg vein cases. Your days will be focused on assisting during high-stakes surgeries, with shifts running either from 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. or 5:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., especially when heart cases are scheduled earlier. Expect to work five days a week, with every third weekend on call. This role offers the chance to be part of an experienced team handling a variety of cardiovascular surgeries, providing valuable hands-on assistance in a busy surgical environment. A hard stop is in place for procedures, ensuring your schedule stays predictable, and your expertise is essential to meet the rigorous demands of the OR team.
