Job Description:

Join our team as a Certified Surgical First Assistant in Washington, DC, for a 13-week contract dedicated to supporting a busy operating room environment. This role involves assisting in a wide range of surgical procedures, including bariatrics, orthopedics, robotics, thoracic, trauma, and urology cases. You'll be working four days a week on 10-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with some on-call duties, weekend, and holiday rotations—sometimes both Saturday and Sunday. Prepare to be part of a hospital recognized as a top heart and vascular center, with excellent staff and state-of-the-art facilities. This assignment offers an engaging experience for those with at least two years of surgical assisting experience, previous travel assignments, and current DC licensure. The environment is professional yet dynamic, providing ample opportunities to hone your skills across diverse surgical specialties.
