Job Description:

This travel contract is tailored for experienced Registered Nurses specializing in Progressive Care Units (PCU) with a focus on cardiac and medical stepdown care. During this 13-week assignment, you'll be working 12-hour night shifts at a facility in Shreveport, Louisiana, providing vital monitoring and intervention for patients recovering from surgeries, cardiac procedures, or experiencing conditions like respiratory failure, CVA, or sepsis. You’ll have the opportunity to engage with advanced cardiac management such as titrating drips, managing venous sheaths, and operating equipment like IV pumps and central lines. The environment is fast-paced yet supportive, with unit resources including RNs, techs, and a resource nurse to assist. This role offers a chance to deepen your skills in cardiac and medical patient management while working in a diverse, traveler-friendly setting that values your expertise.
