Job Description:

This registered nurse role in the PCU (Progressive Care Unit) offers an engaging opportunity to work with a variety of surgical and trauma patients, many of whom have undergone complex procedures such as bariatric surgery, urology, hepatobiliary, colorectal, or trauma cases. The night shift spans 12 hours, providing a unique chance to experience the quiet tranquility of overnight care while managing patients with intricate needs like wound vacs, multiple drains, epidurals, PCA, and other advanced interventions. You'll be the point person for interpreting dysrhythmias, managing rapid response calls, and coordinating post-op pain control. This assignment is tailored for those comfortable floating within scope and adapting to a busy, fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality care under the cover of night.
