Job Description:

This travel assignment in the Cardiac Medicine and Telemetry unit offers a chance to showcase your med-surg skills in a fast-paced hospital setting. You'll work nights, 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, providing critical support during your 36-hour weekly commitment and potential overtime. While the unit has 43 beds, your focus will be on managing acute med-surg and telemetry patients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. The role includes floating to other units as required and working charge assignments—you'll be trained for these responsibilities. Residing more than 50 miles from the facility is necessary, and candidates must have an active NY RN license and BLS certification. The contract spans 16 weeks, offering an immersive experience in a supportive team environment, with the flexibility to adapt to the facility’s scheduling needs.
