Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment in Milwaukee, WI offers an exciting opportunity for experienced Labor & Delivery nurses specializing in high-risk maternal and neonatal care. You will be supporting a Level IV Trauma Center and a renowned teaching hospital, working primarily during 12-hour night shifts. Your role involves managing high-risk mother and newborn cases, assisting with cesarean sections, and performing maternal assessments and interventions in a fast-paced OB unit that handles around 280 deliveries each month. This position demands expertise in placenta accreta, tubal ligations, cerclages, hysterectomies, and post-delivery neonatal care. You'll experience a supportive team including OB surgeons, midwives, and residents, with all necessary PPE provided. Your bedside work will be complemented by charting in EPIC and collaboration with a highly skilled multidisciplinary staff. The environment is challenging but rewarding, offering a chance to hone your skills in a state-of-the-art facility.
