Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment at HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe offers a unique opportunity to work within a busy Labor and Delivery unit, primarily covering night shifts. You will be involved in patient care activities such as laboring and vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and caring for postpartum mothers and their newborns. The role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities that include monitoring labor progress, assisting with deliveries, and providing post-delivery support. Experience with postpartum and newborn care, along with charge responsibilities, will help you succeed in this position. The unit's equipment includes GE monitors and Panda warmers, and the staff-to-patient ratios are generally 1:1 to 2:1. Expect to collaborate with a team of RNs, CNAs, and other staff to ensure smooth patient care during your shift.
