Job Description:

This RN position in the Cath Lab at Baptist Health Shelby Hospital offers an engaging opportunity to work in a specialized cardiac environment. The role involves performing high-level procedures within four state-of-the-art Cath Lab rooms, handling cardiology patients requiring diagnostic and interventional services. The typical shift is 4x10 hours, from 07:00 to 17:30, with a weekly guaranteed commitment of 36 hours. Expect to participate in a rotating call schedule, including one weekend every four weeks and at least one day during the week. This role is ideal for experienced cath lab RNs who thrive in a fast-paced setting that demands precision, teamwork, and adherence to certifications like BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. You’ll get the chance to work with Philips Xray and Merge HEMO Charting systems within the EPIC electronic medical record, ensuring seamless procedural documentation. If you’re comfortable managing cardiology cases and possess 5+ years of relevant experience, this assignment provides a unique blend of technical challenge and community impact.
