Job Description:

Join a reputable orthopedic unit in Peoria, Illinois, for a 13-week travel RN contract working 12-hour night shifts. You’ll be caring for a diverse patient population, including postoperative orthopedic cases, trauma with fractures, and general medical-surgical patients. Your responsibilities will include providing postoperative surgical care, managing phones, troubleshooting telemetry equipment, and collaborating with the charge nurse and PCTs. Experience with portable ventilators, CPAP, high flow, and telemetry monitoring will be valuable. Expect a schedule that includes every other weekend with weekend days or nights off, and occasional float to similar medical-surgical floors. This assignment offers a balanced workload of 36 hours per week, with guaranteed hours during orientation, and pays approximately $2,043.88 gross weekly. Be prepared to meet the specific OSF requirements, including active Illinois licensure, a negative drug screen, and documentation of clinical experience.
