Job Description:

This Medical Surgical Registered Nurse role offers the opportunity to work on a specialized 23-bed Neurology/Stroke/Epilepsy Monitoring unit in Charleston, SC. You'll be covering night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three times a week, with the chance to float within scope to other similar units or sister facilities. The position includes responsibilities like monitoring epilepsy patients, managing stroke and neurology cases, and supporting programs such as the Comprehensive Spine and Epilepsy Centers. Expect to work four to five weekend shifts per four-week period and participate in holiday rotation. This assignment is ideal for nurses with at least one year of experience, holding a South Carolina or multi-state license, and certified in BLS. ACLS and NIH Stroke certifications are preferred. During hurricane season, some emergency response duties may be required, so flexibility is advised.
