Job Description:

This step-down registered nurse position at Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus offers a focused experience caring for a consistent patient population within the HVTI-step down unit. As a traveler in this role, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients requiring close monitoring and transitioning from intensive care. The assignment involves 12-hour rotating shifts, including overnight and day shifts, with the possibility of floating to units J1-2, J33, or the ED depending on hospital needs. Travelers must have at least 18 months of recent step-down experience, including some previous travel assignments, and hold a valid Ohio or compact state license. Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS is required, along with successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation. This unique role offers the chance to work within a renowned medical center, supporting an essential healthcare team while gaining valuable, specialized experience.
