Job Description:

Join a travel contract as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Surgery Operating Room (CVOR/Open Heart) in Corvallis, Oregon. This role supports cardiac-focused surgical cases in a busy OR setting, working with a range of provider specialties while caring for patients across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and elderly populations.

You’ll circulate in the OR for cardiac surgery and related procedural sedation cases, coordinating within the surgical workflow and ensuring the right support is in place from start to finish. The assignment features days/varied scheduling within a full 40-hour week, making it a great fit for an experienced OR RN who enjoys the rhythm of procedural prep and intra-operative support.

To be considered: an unencumbered Oregon RN license, BLS (Healthcare Provider Level), and AHA ACLS are required. CVOR/Open Heart experience is required (one year as a circulating nurse in the OR, or completion of an approved didactic pre-operative nursing class). Additional experience in ICU/PCU and/or medical/surgical acute care is preferred, and ICU experience and scrubbing experience are preferred. Come prepared to plug in quickly and help keep the OR running smoothly.
