Job Description:

Step into a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse travel role in Pocatello, Idaho—built for nurses who enjoy fast-paced nights and clear, structured workflows. You’ll work 3x12-hour nights (19:00 - 07:00), bringing 2+ years of experience to a unit handling a wide mix of medical and post-acute needs, including sepsis, COPD, AKI, trauma, respiratory failure, bowel obstruction, pyelonephritis, and cardiac conditions, along with Diabetes and GI-related diagnoses. Expect isolation cases and patients requiring close monitoring for conditions such as confusion/AMS and SI with medical indications.

Charting is completed in Epic, and documentation matters—thoroughly recording care as delivered in alignment with regulatory and facility requirements. This assignment is also ideal for travelers who can confidently apply the Nursing Process across age groups (infants through geriatrics), maintain professionalism in a busy environment, and adapt as practice updates meet patient safety goals. BLS certification is required.

Shift structure is steady and long-form: 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week for 13 weeks. A 100-mile radius rule applies, and local candidates are not considered.
