Job Description:

Join a seasonal travel nursing team as a Registered Nurse (RN) supporting the NICU (Neonatal ICU) at a leading care facility in Wichita, Kansas. This role centers on night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, working a 12-hour schedule (36 hours per week) for 13 weeks. You’ll be part of a unit environment that includes NICU and NSCU operations, with structured staffing that features charge RNs, unit secretaries, and RRT support across day and night coverage.

In this assignment, you’ll care for newborn patients requiring specialized NICU support and assist with a focused range of clinical needs such as IV therapy, whole body cooling, and participation in surgical cases including NEC, PDA, and CVC-related support. Additional responsibilities may include PDA ligations, high-frequency ventilation, and chest tube procedures.

To be considered, you must have at least 1 year of current acute care NICU hospital experience, along with BLS and NRP, and active Kansas RN licensure. Level IV NICU experience, prior Meditech experience, and travel experience to large teaching facilities are preferred.
