Job Description:

Join a full-service surgical facility in Albany, Georgia as a travel healthcare professional supporting OR operations in a multi-specialty setting. This role is built around a consistent workflow across 19 suites, handling approximately 55–60 cases per day (around 1,000 cases per month) while using Meditech as the EMR. You’ll work in an environment where teams are organized and supported by a Charge Nurse who oversees the schedule and daily flow.

Expect a rotating holiday schedule with flexibility, weekend coverage approximately once per quarter for RN roles, and structured orientation with one week of floor-specific training. Surgeons are on call 24/7 and cover their own cases; specialty call coverage is handled nightly by teams, with call response at 30 minutes. Travelers should only take call when cases fall within their competency (for example, cardiac only handles cardiac, while ortho/neuro can be covered by general when within scope).

Required certifications include BLS and ACLS. For OR techs, CST is required. Scrub color is provided, and weekend/holiday expectations should be met with strong reliability and attendance.
