Job Description:

Step into an Emergency Department (ED) travel nursing role in Washington, DC, where nights move quickly and every shift brings a new mix of acuity—from straightforward urgent-care needs to complex trauma and critical situations. You’ll manage time-sensitive tasks and advanced ED workflows, including medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion support, and chest tube care.

This is a 3 x 12s night shift assignment designed for experienced ED RNs who can coordinate care for patients with complex nursing needs while staying focused on safety and quality. If you’re comfortable working across a wide range of cases (including pediatric and behavioral health presentations) and you bring current ED-ready credentials, this assignment offers the variety and intensity that makes emergency work so rewarding.

Expect comfortable daytime temperatures with a mix of cool evenings. Conditions can shift during the day, and you may see light rain at times—plan for changeable weather and typical seasonal breezes.
