Job Description:

Work as an RN for a travel healthcare contract in the Emergency Department in Marshall, Texas. This is a 12 hour nights role (7P–7A) designed for nurses who are comfortable working independently in a fast-moving ED setting with patients across ED, trauma, medical, critical care, and pediatrics.

You’ll support triage workflows, provide both routine and more complex nursing care, and document assessments, symptoms, medications, and treatments. The assignment may include float support to other ED departments within the Good Shepherd system as needed.

Required competencies include BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA only), along with TNCC. Preferred experience includes moderate sedation competency, Epic experience, and triage experience—so you can get into the flow quickly and keep care moving through the night. (And yes—there’s a little “night-shift energy” involved, just keep it professional and steady.)

Weather:

Expect generally mild to warm conditions with periodic rain and humid stretches, plus cooler evenings that can make nights feel comfortable between shifts.

Fun Things To Do:

- Lakeview Park and walking trails

- Historic downtown Marshall exploration and local shops

- Day trip: Shreveport Boardwalk and waterfront dining

- Day trip: Caddo Lake and paddle or nature walks

- Texarkana museums and regional attractions
