Job Description:

Join a travel contract as a Med-Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN) on a busy adult unit designed for cardiac monitoring across a wide range of clinical needs. In this role, you’ll work day shifts on 7 South (37-bed unit), supporting adults who may require telemetry monitoring from routine presentations through more complex conditions, including post-op transplant patients and adult patients needing cardiac monitoring. This assignment is especially suited for an RN who enjoys fast-paced coordination, consistent monitoring workflows, and the variety that comes with a diverse adult population.

Shift structure includes 12-hour days (7A–7P) on weekdays with an every-other-weekend requirement, with guaranteed hours available as a 36 or 48-hour contract option (OT applies after 48 hours for 4x12s, based on preference). Orientation is held every other week—Thursday in the computer lab, then Friday through lunch before reporting to the facility for badge setup and unit schedule coordination.

Expect a mix of mild and comfortably cool conditions with occasional rain. Days are often pleasant for getting outside, and evenings can feel crisp—bring layers for changing temperatures.
