Job Description:

Work as a CVOR Tech supporting surgical services at a Level I Trauma Center in New Haven, CT. This travel contract is built around a clear, consistent schedule of 36 hours per week using 12-hour day shifts, typically 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, with the option to consider alternative structures such as 2x12s or combinations of 2x8 hour shifts. You’ll play a key role in keeping the surgical workflow running smoothly by preparing, maintaining, and supporting the operating room during scheduled cases.

This assignment is ideal for someone who enjoys operating-room rhythm and detail—performing within established procedures while adapting to facility needs when floating within scope is required. Expect call coverage as part of the role, with two 24-hour calls per schedule and additional on-call requirements during the M–F week (either 7:00 PM–11:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM), plus one day per week available to stay late.

Qualifications include 2+ years of CVOR experience. ACLS and BLS certification are required, and an active license prior to start is required. First-timers are accepted.
