Job Description:

Join a Respiratory Therapy team in Salem, Virginia for a travel contract at a busy main medical facility. In this role, you’ll provide day-shift respiratory care with a strong focus on pulmonary diagnostics and ventilation support. Day shift runs on a 12-hour schedule, working 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment.

You’ll routinely perform treatments such as nebulized therapy and CPT, assist with nocturnal pulse oximetry, obtain arterial blood gases, and support BiPAP and ventilator management. The department utilizes EPOC Blood Gases and ventilators including PB 840, Newport, ReVel, LTV, and V60, with documentation in Meditech. You may also be involved in key procedures including HHN, CPT, BiPAP/Vent management, and extubation support.

With experience in ICU settings and comfort managing BiPAP/vent equipment, you’ll help cover floating areas such as CICU, SICU, MICU, and step-down units as needed.
