Job Description:

Step into an advanced mixed-acuity Progressive Care Unit as a PCU Registered Nurse in Lafayette, IN. This contract is built for a traveler who enjoys variety in their daily workflow—caring for a medical patient mix that includes PCU-level needs, plus an oncology and stroke focus. You’ll work a 12-hour day schedule in a unit where assignments may include medical-surgical patients alongside progressive care patients.

What you’ll do: manage monitored care with medication infusions such as Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin drips, while supporting care for unstable stroke cases and patients who may require BiPAP. The team values nurses with solid neuro experience, and this role may be filled by RNs who are comfortable coming in from MS/Tele or PCU experience paths.

This assignment is a great fit for an experienced RN ready to balance mixed acuity, fast-changing priorities, and specialty responsibilities across oncology and stroke.
