Job Description:

Step into a high-acuity Operating Room Registered Nurse role with a focus on Level I Trauma capabilities. This travel contract supports night coverage in an OR setting where you’ll scrub and circulate—bringing experience across trauma workflows and with liver and kidney cases. You may also float to GI services or Center One Surgery Center, giving this assignment a broader day-to-day surgical rhythm.

Shifts run on a 10-hour nights schedule (19:00–05:00) with a 40-hour work week. A structured 6-week schedule is used, including weekend night coverage and seasonal holiday call requirements (summer and winter), with holiday shifts scheduled as 8 or 12 hours based on staffing needs.

To be successful here, you’ll need a BSN and at least 3 years of experience, including Level I Trauma experience (Trauma certification required) and relevant liver and kidney exposure. Charting uses Cerner.

Weather:

Expect a mix of cool evenings and mild-to-warm daytime conditions, with occasional breezes and a chance of rain. Bring layers to stay comfortable through shifting temperatures.
