Job Description:

Step into the Emergency Department at a critical access hospital in Bridgton, Maine—where you’ll help stabilize patients and support timely transfers for trauma, STEMI, stroke, and code situations. This travel RN assignment is built around 12-hour night shifts (36 hours per week) with weekend coverage (10 weekend shifts per contract). You’ll rotate as needed across days, mids, and nights, with no fixed schedule for how shifts are distributed.

In this role, you’ll cover ED-focused priorities including triage and evaluation workflows, starting IVs, blood product administration, phlebotomy, and management of dysrhythmias. The work also includes procedural sedation support, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, and care coordination for ortho-trauma, head injury, and acute emergency presentations. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH (CPI; NRP preferred). Float support is required, and proficiency with Cerner documentation is expected.
