Job Description:

Step into an Operating Room Registered Nurse travel contract in Shreveport, Louisiana, where your day-to-day work is centered on preparing for and supporting OR case flow in a fast-paced surgical setting. This role runs Monday through Friday on 8-hour days (6:30a–3:00p), giving you a consistent schedule while still staying ready for what surgical services demand.

You may be assigned to an “Emergency Team” when needed, with an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes, or to support the relief team. Pay details tied to emergency events are communicated when events occur. If you’re comfortable with that possibility, this assignment offers a unique chance to blend routine OR coverage with readiness for urgent surges.

Qualifications include general OR experience with trauma experience preferred. BLS is preferred, and training can be provided if it isn’t currently held.

Expect warm, humid days with occasional summer-like showers and plenty of sunshine between brief storms.
