Job Description:

Step into a busy Main OR Surgical Services setting in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, supporting a wide mix of cases across Neurology/Neuro (spine and cranial), ENT, Orthopedics, and general specialties—including vascular, oncology, GU, GYN, and robotic (XI) procedures. This contract is designed for a Surgical Technologist (CST) who can confidently work in a high-acuity operating room workflow while staying organized through a consistent charting and equipment routine.

Work a standard 8-hour day schedule totaling 40 hours per week for 13 weeks. Your day-to-day will include preparing the operating room for a variety of surgical specialties, supporting the team during procedures, and operating within the facility’s systems and preferences (EPIC, Alaris, and Pyxis). Expect 1–1.5 weeks of orientation depending on the team and shift. Note: first-time travelers will require further approval/evaluation by the hiring supervisor.

Milwaukee offers a unique blend of high-volume OR variety and advanced navigation familiarity, including Medtronic (cranial & spine), Medtronic Stealth (ENT), and Stryker/Synaptive (cranial). Scrub colors are provided by the hospital, and scrub caps are allowed with a surgical bouffant covering.
