Job Description:

Join an operating room team as a Surgical Technologist supporting Ortho/Neuro/Spine, where you’ll prep for complex cases and keep the surgical suite running smoothly from start-up to turnover. This 13-week travel contract in Wausau, WI is built around variable 8-hour day shifts (40 hours/week), with a structured on-call schedule: 6–8 weekday calls plus 1–2 weekend calls over the contract. Call responsibilities include a 30-minute response time, so you must be prepared to get to the OR quickly—especially for Ortho/Neuro/Spine crani cases (these are required). You may also be asked to float to nearby sites as needed. If you’re experienced with Level II trauma workflows, comfortable in totals, and ready to scrub high-volume days (often 40–60 cases/day), this assignment offers the variety and pace that travelers look for.
