Job Description:

Join a travel surgical support team in Clovis, New Mexico, assisting surgeons in the Operating Room by preparing instruments and equipment, supporting setup, and helping keep procedures running smoothly. This contract is focused on operating-room readiness: performing scrub functions, maintaining sterile field integrity, securing and preparing supplies before surgical intervention, and completing instrument counts with accuracy throughout each case. You’ll also help position and re-position patients as needed, assist with specimen handling and correct routing, and support safe, orderly OR workflow under surgeon supervision. A key part of this role is staying current on equipment, aseptic technique, anatomy/physiology, and medications used intraoperatively.

Assignment note: You may float between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles. Call is required on weeknights, weekends, and holidays, with up to 6 call shifts per month.

Expect generally mild conditions with cool evenings and comfortable daytime temperatures, with occasional breezes and dry, sunny stretches punctuated by brief changes in wind and cloud cover.
