Job Description:

Step into a fast-paced, high-acuity Emergency Department environment as a critical care–experienced healthcare professional supporting a Level II Trauma program that functions like a Level I. This travel contract is ideal for travelers who enjoy building momentum in the middle of urgent, multi-system cases—without losing focus. You’ll work alongside a strong support team including a CNA, receptionist/HUC, charge nurse, and in-house resources such as phlebotomy and hospitalist coverage. Expect a shift structure that rotates through 7a–7p, 7p–7a, 11a–11p, and 3p–3a, plus an every-other-weekend style rotation (or the equivalent of 4 weekend days per month on a block schedule).

Your day-to-day will include caring for patients with conditions such as multi-system trauma (Level II), STEMI, stroke, CHF, COPD, GI/GU concerns, OB/GYN needs, pediatrics, and psychiatric presentations. The work also includes advanced critical-care–leaning tasks and equipment management such as trach care, vent care, ICU drip care and maintenance, chest tubes, arterial lines, CVLs, PICCs, midlines, ports, foley care, splint/orthopedic device application and care, BiPAP/high-flow support, and continuous bladder irrigation.
