Job Description:

Step into a travel healthcare role supporting the acute care Med/Surg unit in Sierra Vista, Arizona. This assignment runs on 12-hour nights, with a typical schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours weekly commitment). You’ll work in an inpatient acute care setting where your time is organized around night shift workflow, including documentation in Cerner and coordination with unit equipment such as Alaris pumps, SCD machines, feeding tubes, and telemetry monitoring.

The unit serves mostly geriatric and adult populations, with occasional peds cases not assigned to the traveler. Float/cross-coverage may be required to support inpatient holds, and weekends may be needed occasionally (same 12-hour structure). Call is limited and typically only occurs if staffing needs require it or if placed on call.

Required credentials include BLS and ACLS. Travel candidates are strongly preferred to have more than one year of relevant experience (at least 1 year recommended), with tele experience preferred.
