Job Description:

Join a Level I trauma center team as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) supporting respiratory and neuro diagnostics work. This is a night 3x12-hour block schedule (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), with assigned shifts based on unit staffing needs—no self-scheduling or special accommodations. You’ll float between the SRC and YSC campuses, which are close to each other (about one block), sharing a parking area and offering a shuttle for travelers.

This assignment is a strong fit for an RRT with trauma and adult critical care ventilator experience (minimum 2 years). Weekend coverage follows an every-other schedule. You must hold RRT credentials and have ACLS and BLS. Extra experience with extra-corporeal support, NICU, and peds is preferred. Familiarity with Hamilton C6 ventilators is preferred as well. Charting is completed in Epic, and staff will work under therapist-led protocols, so hands-on ventilator workflow experience matters.

Weather:

Expect cool, crisp conditions with a mix of cloudier days and occasional bursts of milder weather. Night temperatures often run on the chilly side, so layering is useful throughout the season.
