Job Description:

Step into a Registered Respiratory Therapist travel contract in St. Louis, where you’ll support night-shift respiratory therapy work across hospital units and designated areas. This role is ideal for an RRT who brings at least 1 year of experience and is ready to handle the responsibilities that come with ventilator support, therapy effectiveness evaluation, and maintaining life-support equipment—while following physician orders and clinical procedures with confidence.

You’ll work 12-hour nights in a 3x12 structure with a weekly guarantee of 36 hours. Weekend hours are available as needed. If you’re ACCS-ready (Adult Critical Care Specialist) or moving toward it, that’s a strong advantage—ACCS is preferred, and RRT-ACCS is preferred for this assignment.

Required qualifications include a current Missouri license, BLS and ACLS (may obtain upon hire), and CRT with registered status through the National Board of Respiratory Care (RRT). Training and readiness for adult critical care and emergency department experience are especially valued, along with the ability to think critically and stay flexible in a busy hospital workflow.

Expect a mix of cool and mild days with occasional breezes. Evenings can feel noticeably cooler, so having a warm layer ready for outdoor plans is a good idea.
