Job Description:

Join a travel nursing contract in Oklahoma City where you’ll provide bedside nursing care across a variety of pediatric hospital units. This role is a float pool position, meaning your work shifts with the needs of the department—covering areas including PICU, CICU, and NICU (with NICU work limited to feeder growers/low acuity, not traditional NICU). You’ll assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients, monitor and document physiological data, and respond promptly to changes. You’ll also administer medications, regulate intravenous infusions and blood products, assist with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures, and coordinate care by delegating tasks to support staff. Weekends and holidays are required, and you may be floated to acute care units such as surgical, behavioral health, medical specialty (GI, neuro, respiratory), hem/onc, step-down, and cardiac peds.

Unique to this assignment: experience with trach and high-flow therapy is required, along with familiarity with infusions and being the first line for these core skills. Level 1 Trauma experience is also required.
