Job Description:

Join an inpatient rehabilitation team in Augusta, Georgia, delivering speech-language pathology services in a focused, high-impact setting. In this travel contract, you’ll perform and support evaluations and treatment centered on swallowing and cognitive-communication needs, including bedside swallow exams and MBSS when indicated. This role follows an 8-hour day schedule, giving you a consistent rhythm while you collaborate with full-time therapy staff and cover PRN needs as part of the unit’s therapy staffing plan.

What makes this assignment unique is the mix of clinical priorities—dysphagia-focused care, cognitive assessment and treatment, and stroke rehabilitation—plus the opportunity to use specialized equipment such as VitalStim, Bioness, Pneuvest, and BITS visual and cognitive programs. You’ll be supported by an EMR workflow through Meditech and you’ll fit right in if you’re flexible, a strong team player, and comfortable working independently when you’re set for the day’s needs.

Required qualifications include CCC, a Georgia license, and experience with MBSS, dysphagia (including bedside swallow exam), cognitive assessment and treatment, and stroke rehab. VitalStim experience and FEES are preferred, with TBI experience considered a plus.

Weather:
